mini gourmand
A partial list of things Sadie has eaten for dinner recently:
- Moroccan butternut squash tagine
- Chinese mushroom and water chestnut lettuce wraps
- Sesame udon noodles with snap peas
- Mahi mahi tacos
- Greek shrimp and feta scampi over tomato/onion coulis
- Arugula and baby greens salad in rice wine vinaigrette (pretty much every night)
If I cook it, she eats it. And when I say "eats", I mean "cleans her plate". Now, granted--she still wants mac & cheese most every other night of the week, pizza on the remaining ones, and yogurt with raspberries EVERY morning for breakfast...but all kids are gonna have their food hangups, right?

first sushi
At 10 months, Sadie got a wooden sushi set and training chopsticks.
At a year, she received not one, but two copies of My Little Book of Sushi for her birthday.
I can't believe it's taken this long to get around to introducing the real thing!
